Insurance & Payment
We are an out-of-network practice and don't bill insurance directly. Insurance companies typically limit which tests can be used and how many hours are approved, which makes a thorough, individualized evaluation difficult. Staying out-of-network lets me build each testing battery around your questions rather than around a billing limit.
We accept HSA and FSA payments, offer flexible payment plans through Cherry (LINK https://withcherry.com/home-comp), and can connect you with Reimbursify (link https://reimbursify.com/individual-page/), a service that helps you seek reimbursement from your insurance if your plan includes out-of-network benefits.
We recommend contacting your insurance provider directly beforehand to ask about their specific reimbursement rates and requirements for out-of-network providers, since these vary widely by plan.
Adult Testing & Evaluations
Testing fees vary based on your individual needs. This isn't an evasive answer — the actual cost depends on the length of time required for testing, interpretation, and report writing, and that time depends on what's bringing you in and what questions the evaluation needs to answer.
Here's how the process works:

We'll discuss fees directly on that call, based on what the evaluation will involve.
You'll receive a written estimate before moving forward. There are no hidden fees and no surprises.
Evaluation fees depend on the questions we're answering:
Diagnostic clarity (mood, anxiety, trauma, or personality questions): around $2,800 and estimated at 6-7 hours of dedicated time.
ADHD, autism, and college-level accommodations: around $3,500 and estimated 8-10 hours of dedicated time.
Professional exam accommodations (e.g., MCAT, LSAT): around $4,300 and estimated 10-12 hours of dedicated time.
These are estimates, and your final fee reflects the time your evaluation requires. Dedicated time includes a 60-120-minute intake, between 3-6 hours of testing, a 60-minute feedback session, and a personalized, easy-to-read report for your records. Accommodation reports are more extensive and are written to meet testing board documentation requirements.
Where sessions take place:
Intake and feedback sessions can be completed remotely via HIPAA-compliant Zoom for your convenience. Accommodations can be made for clients who prefer to conduct these in-person at the Henderson office.
Testing sessions are always completed in person at the Henderson office. Dr. Tricia Steeves does all the testing personally.
